L’Angélus has been founded by Philippe Hoyez and Gabriel de Balasy.

After spending more than 10 years on stage as Professional magicians, the two business partners ventured into F&B.

Meanwhile, Gabriel de Balasy was a food critic for the famed magazine GaultMillau.

Their first restaurant opened in 1993 in Paris.

The landed in a charming street in historical Chinatown: Club Street.

Growing bigger over the years, always eager to offer new concepts to their faithful customers, L’Angélus Group now runs 5 outlets in the street.

Fridays and Saturdays, Club Street turns car-free, thus adding to the “bohemian” charm of the area.
